There is one of important Search Engine Marketing strategies to boost the blog traffic to make more backlinks in the blog. Links that point to our homepage or subpages are always beneficial for our blog or website popularity, thereof I always put a special attention to increase amount of backlinks point to my blog. And accidentally while I was Googling this dawn, I found a post that informs about a huge list of forums which allow their member to put links in their signatures, and the forums removed the nofollow tag. This is really wonderful news!
Everyone should get to know Google’s work principle: the more backlinks, more votes, the more votes mean more traffic; more popularity means rank well in Search Engine Result Page, rank well lead more visitors, the more visitors mean more profit for the internet marketing.
That is a benign cycle for the search engine marketing. It’s a bit complicated chain, but with a lucrative consequence. All SEO minded bloggers will agree with me on this concern.

Dofollow refers to links that do not have nofollow attribute. It is recognized as a vote and the link will be crawled by the search engine spiders. If the link is dofollow, the page rank of the webpage can be transferred into your site. Links with nofollow links are less likely to be crawled. No follow simply means that the webmaster does not want to have anything to do with the link.
The dofollow and nofollow attributes are originally created by Google to reduce the amount of spam in the blogging community. Before it was implemented, many people like to leave their links in the comment body while commenting on the blog posts. The amount of spam is so overwhelming that it cause problems for the blog moderator. Google created the dofollow/nofollow terms so that the moderators don’t have to worry about the link juice of their page flowing out to unrelated websites.
Since the implementation of nofollow, the amount of spam comment has greatly reduced.
To determine if a site is dofollow, you simply right click on the link. When the right click menu pop up, you should select Properties. [Read more...]

Are you new to SEO? Do you need backlinks? One way you can get them is to comment on blogs that link out. These days many blogs link out, but not all link out without applying the nofollow attribute. Once the nofollow attribute is applied to your link, it no longer passes on the trust and reputation necessary for your website. Once the nofollow attribute is applied, the link is only good for indexing your website or page and click thru traffic that is browsing the blog.
The trick to benefiting from blog commenting as an SEO strategy is to find blogs that have not applied the nofollow attribute and that have moderators checking the comments manually. Comments that are auto-approved by the blog will be spammed relentlessly by spammers and any value that your link may contain will quickly and ruthlessly be diluted to a valueless state. So how can one find blogs that do not have the nofollow attribute applied? Simple. Use Google and search for the following:
“Add comment” Your Keywords
“Post comment” Your Keywords
